Service Cashier

Cashier Position

Tim Short Honda is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all dealership customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process cash, credit card, and financing transactions accurately
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers
• Maintain and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Assist customers with billing questions and provide friendly service
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate departments
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area
• Work closely with the sales and service departments to ensure accurate transaction processing
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and computer skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and attitude

Work Environment: This position operates in a dealership office setting with frequent interaction with customers and staff.
