Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required. STEMI experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: IR and Neuro IR experience preferred.

Unit Details: Common diagnoses/types of patients include STEMI, PCI, diagnostic coronary angiography, structural heart procedures, electrophysiology studies, ablations, device implants, synchronized cardioversions, TEEs, acute stroke/thrombectomy, peripheral vascular interventions, biopsies, drain placements, and pre/post procedural recovery. Uses Change Healthcare (formerly McKesson) and Lifepak 20. Cath Lab Techs scrub and monitor cases.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday with one rotating day off each week. Rotating weekday call based on department staffing needs. Rotating weekend call based on department staffing needs. Call hours include any hours outside of M-F 0700-1630 and include 24 hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday. Holiday call required if a holiday falls during the contract period.

Floating Requirements: Within the cath lab department only (Coronary, Neuro IR, Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Prep & Recovery).

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
