Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,967-$2,098 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 days Start date: 08/18/2026 Setting: Perioperative/operating room care in an acute-care environment On-call and weekend schedules determined by the facility Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative nursing care for OR patients in alignment with organizational policies and professional standards. Maintain sterile technique and infection control throughout a surgical case and coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub personnel. Monitor patient status during anesthesia and intraoperative phases; assist with positioning, instrumentation, counts, and specimen handling. Document perioperative care accurately in the patient record; communicate changes and patient needs to the surgical team. Provide safe, age-appropriate nursing care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy from pre-op through post-anesthesia care as applicable.
