Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the NICU Level III unit will be responsible for providing high-quality care to neonatal patients, including micro preemies and those requiring high-frequency ventilation. The RN will float based on departmental needs among five hospitals within the healthcare system.
Responsibilities
Provide care for patients in a Level III NICU setting, ensuring high standards of practice.
Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, administering treatments as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Adhere to hospital policies and guidelines, including safety procedures.
Float to designated hospitals as needed and maintain flexibility in assignments.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
2-3 years of experience in a Level III NICU setting.
Experience with micro preemies and high-frequency ventilation.
Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
Active NJ or Compact RN License required.
Epic experience preferred.
