Our software engineers are responsible for the life cycle of the software they create, including development, testing, and operational support.Responsibilities:Create highly reliable software systems that task remote sensor payloads on hundreds of satellites in low earth orbit and process the collected informationApply creativity to build an immersive earth observation experience for users whether they are in offices or in the fieldSee your software through from start-to-finish: from figuring out the core needs to prototyping, developing, and testing; to production rollout and beyondBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, physics, mathematics, or a STEM discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience in full stack software engineering in lieu of a degreeDevelopment experience in C# and Typescript, or full stack software development experiencePreferred Skills and Experience:Developing software that has been used real-world applications and projectsKnowledge of web services and networksExperience with AWS or building inside of cloud environmentsExperience with developing within Linux server environments, SSH, scripting, and configurationExperience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration frameworksExperience with Service Workers and IndexedDBExperience with PostgreSQL or implementing highly performant databasesExperience with image data processing and machine learningExperience with graphics-intensive web application developmentAbility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearanceAdditional Requirements:This position requires successfully obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment.
