About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the demand generation and brand-building efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new revenue growth, recruiting and managing a world-class sales team, and setting an effective outbound lead generation strategy. This role is pivotal in the company's expansion into enterprise customer relationships and new segments, and the VP of Sales will be expected to engage with strategic opportunities, lead executive relationships, and partner with the executive team to shape the product roadmap. The ideal candidate is a humble, smart, and hands-on leader with a proven track record in managing high-performing sales teams, particularly in the software industry. Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in managing sales teams, with a strong passion for all aspects of go-to-market. The role requires excellent first-principles thinking, communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive demand generation in successful software companies. The candidate should be adept at articulating complex value points to customers, including executive leaders, and have a strong interest in financial services products.
