Job Summary

We are seeking an SMT Hardware Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, hardware design, validation, testing, and debugging. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in analog, digital, and power electronics, along with hands-on experience in schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware troubleshooting.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a hardware lab, performing board bring-up, validating high-speed interfaces, identifying root causes of hardware issues, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware testing, validation, debugging, and troubleshooting of electronic circuit boards and hardware systems.
• Support board bring-up, functional testing, and root cause analysis of hardware failures.
• Work with analog, digital, and power electronics circuits.
• Review and work with electronic schematics and PCB layouts using Allegro or similar CAD tools.
• Validate and debug high-speed interfaces and communication protocols.
• Support SMT manufacturing activities and hardware-related production issues.
• Use laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, to diagnose hardware issues.
• Collaborate with electrical, hardware design, validation, and manufacturing teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE).
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant electrical engineering and hardware experience.
• Hands-on experience in hardware design, testing, validation, and debugging.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools; Allegro is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics.
• Familiarity with USB 3.2, USB Power Delivery (USB-PD), DisplayPort, PCIe, I2C, and SPI protocols.
• Experience with board bring-up, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hardware validation and testing experience.
• SMT manufacturing support experience.
• High-speed interface design and debugging experience.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other electronic lab equipment.
