About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Ortho / Trauma – Colorado

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Littleton, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 44-bed ortho unit with 1:5 patient ratio (maximum 1:6)

Highlights:

• Acute care ortho and trauma unit with diverse case mix including drain removals and complex wound management
• Collaborative environment with charge nurse support, PCTs, and infusion team assistance for PICC line placements
• Equipment includes mobility lifts, chest tubes, hemavac drains, wound vacs, JP drains, PCA pumps, and Foley catheters
• EMR system: Meditech
• Travel assignment with competitive compensation and benefits package
• Med/Surg experience welcomed and considered for candidates with strong acute care background

Requirements:

• Current RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ortho experience required
• Ortho/Trauma background strongly preferred
• Medical/Surgical acute care experience acceptable and welcomed
