Fabricator

High school diploma or GED. Must possess mechanical aptitude. Ability to learn Automation systems, assembly processes, machining, air, and hydraulic processes. Enrolled in or completion of maintenance apprenticeship program a plus. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer experience. Certification in Lock out tag out training. Basic electrical knowledge needed. Mig welding, cnc and manual machining.

• Responsible for fabricating parts for automation systems.
• Responsible for supporting automation projects for all TM locations globally as required.
• Travel requirement may be up to 30% per year
• Responsible for machining parts for automation systems cnc and manual mill and lathe.
• Responsible for assembly of new automation systems.
• Responsible for the generation of cost saving opportunities related to automation and the presentation of this to management on a regular basis.
• Coordinates automation activities with outside suppliers.
• Manages time schedules to meet the production schedule needs on new automation machines
• Responsible for procurement of purchase orders for shop supplies
• Assists in production start-ups as related to automation machines
• Assists other divisions with various automation parts as needed.
• Ability to make parts in a lathe and milling machine.
