We are looking for experienced, compassionate individuals to provide non-medical care to seniors in their homes.CNA (Certified Nursing Assistants)CHHA (Certified Home Health Aides)HHA (Home Health Aides)Care AidesNursing StudentsPCA (Personal Care Aides)Responsibilities:Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressingProvide medication reminders and assist with transfers using slide board or hoyer liftAssist with meal planning and preparationPerform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and dishesMonitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate partiesProvide emotional support and companionship to clientsCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and the care teamAdhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of clientsRequirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home care settingSlide board lift experienceAbility to pass a thorough background check and drug screeningKnowledge of basic caregiver skills and techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and able to handle stressful situations with professionalismAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of timeMust be willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidaysEEOC Statement: Preferred Care at Home of Central Fairfield is an equal opportunity employer.
