Marketing Manager

Sunset Imports, Inc. is seeking a creative, strategic, and hands-on Marketing Manager to oversee our brand presence across all departments. We serve the Portland metro area with a premium customer experience, and our business is community minded, growth oriented, and built on long-standing relationships with clients and local organizations. As Marketing Manager, you will be the architect of our digital and physical brand identity. You will lead a small, talented team to execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives traffic to our Sales, Service, and Parts departments. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with business goals for New, Used, Parts, and Service channels.
• Manage and create engaging content for all social media platforms, forums, and blogs in collaboration with our Marketing Photographer.
• Oversee all dealership websites and e-commerce platforms, ensuring high-quality merchandising, design, and SEO performance.
• Lead the design and creation of advertising assets, ensuring strict adherence to both corporate and OEM brand guidelines.
• Build, publish, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across various placements to maximize reach and ROI.
• Partner with Department Managers to develop monthly sales and service specials that drive measurable traffic.
• Lead and mentor a team of 1-3 marketing professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous process improvement.
• Analyze marketing expenditures and leverage corporate partnerships to ensure maximum effectiveness and budget efficiency.
• Measure and report on digital traffic, social interaction, and campaign success to adjust strategies in real time.

Key Metrics You Will Own:

• Website traffic, lead conversion, and SEO rankings
• Social media engagement and community growth
• Marketing ROI and cost-per-lead performance
• Asset production timelines and brand compliance scores
• Ad campaign click-through and conversion rates
• Departmental growth in Sales, Service, and Parts attributed to marketing efforts

Qualifications:

• Experience in marketing management, preferably within the automotive or premium retail sector
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a "purpose-driven" yet personable tone
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CMS platforms, and MS Office
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is highly preferred
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Organized, detail-oriented, and decisive with a passion for emerging marketing trends
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record

All roles at Sunset Porsche Audi are on-site and in person, reflecting our premium retail environment and our commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for both internal teams and external clients. Non-exempt roles are typically planned for approximately 40 hours per week, and exempt roles for approximately 45 to 50 plus hours per week.
