The Support Deputy Clerk plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service and greeting visitors. This position is responsible for accepting filings, time-stamping documents, and providing support to staff with docketing, filing, expungements, and returned mail. You will work closely with the collections clerk to plan and execute procedures to ensure the effective collection of delinquent accounts in accordance with policies. This position will conduct in-person, phone, and video appointments with defendants, reviewing financial situations and adhering to court guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of previous experience in business, administration, accounting, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite; specifically O365.
- Able to operate multiple programs simultaneously
- Customer Service Skills and good judgement
- Able to think independently
Preferred:
- Bilingual
- Working knowledge of the PA Unified Judicial System
Status: Fulltime, 37.5 Hours/week, benefit eligible
Compensation: $19.15/hour
