RN PreOp PACUChoice Care Surgery Center is hiring an RN PreOp PACUWelcome to Choice Care Surgery CenterWe have 3 OR rooms, 2 Treatment rooms and 2 Cath Labs. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastics, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.Registered Nurse Preop/PACU at Choice Care Surgery Center:The Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for dischargeQualificationsGraduate of an accredited RN School of NursingActive RN license in the stateBLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferredAbility to make decisions based on nursing judgmentAble to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unitStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenAt USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
