Endoscopy Registered Nurse The Outpatient Center at Boynton Beach is an accredited, physician‑owned ambulatory surgical center committed to delivering high‑quality outpatient care in gastroenterology and pain management. This position requires an RN to provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, including pre‑procedure assessment and preparation, assistance with conscious sedation and sterile techniques in the procedure rooms, post‑anesthesia and post‑sedation care, discharge planning, and patient/family education. Responsibilities Assess and plan patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. Assist physicians with conscious sedation and sterile technique as required. Provide comprehensive post‑anesthesia and post‑sedation care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Coordinate discharge planning and educate patients and families. Make clinical decisions based on nursing judgment and prioritize workload. Communicate verbally and in written form with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. Active RN license in the state. BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center. 2 years of experience in PACU or critical care preferred. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
