Senior Litigation Attorney – (Premises Liability & Construction)

Hybrid | Full-Time

$175,000 – $185,000 base + year-end bonus

We're partnering with a well-established civil defense litigation firm in Syosset to find a Senior Litigation Attorney. This is a long-term seat with a clear path to partnership at a firm known for exceptional attorney retention.

What you'll do

• Manage a full caseload of civil defense matters, including premises liability, construction site accident, and general negligence cases, from inception through resolution
• Take and defend depositions as a core part of your day-to-day work
• Try cases and represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Partner with firm leadership on trial prep, legal strategy, and client communication
• Mentor junior attorneys as the firm invests in its next generation of talent

What we're looking for

• 9–15 years of civil defense litigation experience
• Experience defending premises liability and/or construction/NY Labor Law matters
• Trial experience and the ability to independently handle high-value cases without supervision
• Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar
• Ability to commute to the Long Island office (in-office during onboarding, flexible hybrid afterward)
