Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop care plans.
- Implement and modify age-appropriate treatment programs.
- Participate in discharge planning and care plan meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform administrative duties.
- Engage in performance improvement and pursue professional growth.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the facility.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of occupational therapy experience required.
- BLS certification and New Mexico or eligible for state licensure.
- Experience in an acute care setting is necessary.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Competence in using electronic medical records systems, such as MedHost.
- Flexibility to work holidays and occasional Saturdays as required.
