Requirements Adirondack MC, Saranac Lake NY Pathologist Needed for urgent October Coverage: 10/12/26-10/30/26 (M-F) MAX BILL RATE: $410 per hour Assignment Dates: Coverage needed 10/12/26-10/30/26 (M-F). With potential for future shifts/ongoing coverage Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Cases per Day: Varies based on surgical schedule. Scope of Practice + Requirements: General surgical pathology and cytopath required Frozen sections and basic clinical pathology needed Autopsies: None Cytology and FNA: Needle aspiration capability preferred but not required Additional Coverage: Backup Pathologist support/outside lab backup available if caseload is high Call Requirements: No weekend or on call coverage Location Coverage: Adirondack Health only EMR: Meditech Special Requirements: Must be comfortable performing and analyzing frozen sections on site for select surgical cases Grossing tech available with occasional backup grossing Case Mix: Majority of cases are GI related
