Senior Director, Safety & Pharmacovigilance

Larimar Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Director, Safety & Pharmacovigilance to lead global safety strategy for our rare disease pipeline, including Friedreich’s ataxia. This role will own safety surveillance, signal detection, benefit-risk assessment, and risk management for clinical-stage programs, ensuring full compliance with FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines. You will oversee case processing, aggregate reports, and PV vendor relationships, while partnering closely with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Quality. In Larimar’s collaborative, science-driven culture, you will build and mentor a high-performing PV team, shape safety governance, support inspections and audits, and play a key role in advancing innovative protein replacement therapies for patients with high unmet need.
