This team works closely with Oracle executives to review, shape, and implement initiatives impacting data center development, including power and energy requirements, site selection, land use, permitting, and zoning.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys solving complex challenges, partnering with cross-functional business teams, and working at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, and sustainability. Accommodations to this requirement may be granted following an individualized assessment.ResponsibilitiesPreferred QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.6-10+ years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department. Position is posted as IC5 (Managing Counsel - 12+ years of experience) but one level lower will also be considered.A demonstrated track record of advising clients on complex infrastructure financing or transactional matters.Experience with one or more of the following:Renewable energy PPAs;Utility interconnection agreements;Energy supply agreements; andLarge scale infrastructure financing.Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and counseling skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues to non-lawyers.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, while working to develop internal guidance, templates, and best practices to support consistent legal advice across Oracle's expanding data center portfolio.#LI-KA1About the companyOnly Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care.
