Join Our Team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Make a Difference in Patient Care

Alpine Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our practice on a part-time basis, working 1 or 2 days per week (Monday and/or Wednesday). You will play a vital role in promoting oral health, performing dental cleanings, patient screenings, and assisting in diagnosis and preventative care strategies. If you have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a patient-centered attitude, you’ll thrive in our team-oriented environment.

Pay

$45~$58 per hour

Requirements

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
Proven experience in a similar dental hygiene role
Strong knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other occupational safety regulations
Proficiency in operating and maintaining dental and medical equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient-focused with a friendly demeanor
Ability to handle the physical demands of dental hygiene work
Diploma in Dental Hygiene

Job Description

Ensure patient comfort before and during dental exams
Properly sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Conduct initial oral health screenings and review patient histories
Identify dental conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis
Perform dental cleanings and apply fluoride treatments as needed
Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
Provide post-operative instructions following dental procedures
Take dental X-rays and impressions accurately
Assist dentists in treatment planning and selection
Maintain precise patient records and update charts
Monitor and manage dental supplies and equipment maintenance

Shift & Schedule

Part-time: 1 or 2 days per week (Monday and/or Wednesday)
Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Additional hours on Tuesday and Thursday available as needed (8:45 AM – 5:00 PM)
