Dietitian - Registered Dietitian

Registered Dietitian Inpatient

Primarily Monday to Friday, working from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Some Saturday shifts may be needed, approximately one Saturday every 4-5 weeks. There will be one day off during the week prior to the Saturday worked. Required to have experience in the following areas: Appetite stimulants, Aspiration safety, Assessing fluid status, Cachexia, Calorie counts, Cancer, Chronic wounds, Cirrhosis, Developing plan of treatment, Diabetes, Dialysis, Dietary guidelines, Diuretics, Dysphagia, Enteral nutrition, Failure to thrive, Fluid balance, Fluid/electrolyte requirements, Food-drug interactions, Heart failure, Insulin management, Intake and output, Kidney disease (acute/chronic), Laxatives, Malabsorption syndromes, Management and leadership experience, Metabolic demands, Morbid obesity, Nutrient deficiencies, Nutrition assessments and reassessments, Nutrition focused physical exam, Nutrition therapy complications, Older adults, Oral rehydration solutions for high ostomy outputs, Post-operative gastric bypass, Protein calorie malnutrition, Refeeding syndrome, Steroid management, Therapeutic diet orders, Total parenteral nutrition. Preferred experience includes community hospital exposure and trauma level II experience. This position may require flexibility for call or float assignments if needed. Preferred candidates should have charting experience with Epic. Suitable candidates must have a commitment to quality patient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
