Prisma Cloud Engineer

Description We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a hospitality organization in Inglewood, California, on a Long-term Contract assignment. This position focuses on maintaining and improving a hybrid Microsoft environment that spans cloud services, on-premises infrastructure, endpoint management, and backup operations. The ideal candidate brings strong systems administration experience, a practical approach to troubleshooting, and a commitment to secure, reliable, and efficient technology operations. Responsibilities:

• Manage identity services across a hybrid directory environment, including integration between Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Oversee core Microsoft 365 administration by supporting collaboration platforms, email services, file storage, and user licensing needs.
• Maintain endpoint management solutions through Microsoft Intune by handling device onboarding, compliance standards, configuration settings, and security controls.
• Support privileged access and identity governance practices to strengthen administrative security and controlled access to critical systems.
• Administer Windows Server platforms by performing patching, monitoring system health, resolving performance issues, and addressing operational incidents.
• Provide support for Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and backup technologies to help ensure stability, recovery readiness, and high availability.
• Manage Azure infrastructure across multiple regions, including compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and identity-related services.
• Create and enhance automation using PowerShell and similar scripting tools to reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency.
• Use monitoring and ticketing platforms to track infrastructure health, document technical work, and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and external vendors.
• Participate in disaster recovery exercises, planned maintenance activities, and infrastructure upgrade efforts to support business continuity.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, or enterprise Microsoft environments.
• Practical knowledge of Hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Windows Server, VMware, Veeam Backup & Replication, and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience writing PowerShell scripts to automate recurring administrative and operational tasks.
• Familiarity with Linux server support and infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
• Understanding of identity and access management principles, including privileged access controls and secure authentication practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills.
• Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, Auto Scaling, and automation tools like Ansible is a plus.
