This is a unique opportunity for a registered nurse seeking a stable, school-based role with variety and meaningful impact. This position combines floating between school sites with backup 1:1 support for a medically complex student.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Float Days: 8:30 Am 3:20 Pm
• 1:1 Coverage Days: 8:00 Am 3:40 Pm (includes bus ride support)

Start Dates:

• Summer (ESY): June 16 July 22
• New School Year (26/27): August 24, 2026 June 9, 2027

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support across multiple school health rooms
• Step into a 1:1 role as needed for a student requiring specialized care
• Deliver care to students across k12 settings
• Respond to general health needs and emergencies

1:1 Student Care Includes

• Tracheostomy care (including suctioning)
• G-tube care and feeding support
• Continuous monitoring and hands-on medical support

Requirements

• Active virginia rn license
• Current cpr certification
• Required: Experience with trach and g-tube care
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
