Patient Access Representative Ambulatory - part time

Work Schedule:
50%, day/evening shift working Week 1 - Tuesday and Thursday 4:15p - 8:15p and Saturday 7:45a - 5:15p; Week 2 - Tuesday and Wednesday 3:15p - 8:15p, Thursday 4:15p - 8:15p and Sunday 7:45a - 5:15p. You will work Union Corners Urgent Care in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Patient Access Representative - Ambulatory to:

• Enter and verify demographic and insurance information, identify and collect patient financial obligations, and register or admit patients.
• Promote a positive patient and family experience, exhibit empathy, engage in compassionate collections, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Associate's Degree in Business, Finance. Health Information Management or related field Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience in a customer service-related field Required
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare, call center, business, financial or insurance related field Preferred
