Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk duties
• Communicate effectively with patients, including bilingual Spanish support
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Measure and record vital signs accurately
• Document medical histories and update electronic health records
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations
• Collect specimens such as blood or urine for testing
• Manage medical records and ensure their accuracy
• Maintain inventory and ensure sterilization of medical equipment
• Provide general administrative support to clinic staff

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in medical assisting
• Certificate or diploma in Medical Assisting
• CPR certification
• Skills in phlebotomy and EKG administration
• Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) management
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care
• Excellent communication and bilingual Spanish abilities
• Attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
