Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a clinic setting, requiring ARRT-R and ARRT-M certification along with an active OR radiologic technologist license.

Details\n

• Outpatient imaging clinic setting
\n
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
\n
• Performs diagnostic and screening mammograms as ordered
\n
• Assists radiologist with intricate mammography exams, including breast biopsies
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required
\n
• Experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred
\n
• ARRT-R certification required
\n
• ARRT-M certification required in OR
\n
• OBMI Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
\n
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
\n

Additional Information\n

• Provides patient education while promoting privacy and comfort
\n
• Follows infection control and safety guidelines
\n
• Produces high quality films for radiologist evaluation and completes appropriate documentation
\n
• Obtains patient information and disseminates preparation instructions to patient care areas
\n
• Elevates questions or challenges to senior staff as needed
\n
• Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
