Job Summary On-site Preschool Program Coordinator in Austin, Texas. Relocation assistance is available. Annual salary is $150,000, paid weekly. Position Overview Alpha’s PreK program offers a play-centered curriculum with live developmental tracking, free from scripted lessons. As Coordinator, you will create responsive learning experiences, guide educators, and monitor milestone achievement. What You Will Be Doing Conduct individual and small-group coaching with PreK educators, demonstrating methods and recognizing quantifiable progress Create and lead play-centered learning experiences integrating social-emotional learning, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as the instructional model for your team Evaluate and align educator documentation weekly to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain milestone visibility Develop family communications and coordinate team meetings that synchronize objectives and uphold collective standards for campus-wide PreK readiness targets What You Won’t Be Doing Implementing prescriptive lesson plans or compliance-focused procedures – your work centers on building flexible, play-based experiences informed by actual data Delivering a predetermined curriculum from external sources – you control quarterly and weekly instructional planning Operating independently without structured input – coaching dialogues and calibration reviews are embedded in your weekly schedule Overseeing K-12 learners using software-based instruction – this position focuses exclusively on early childhood, direct, classroom-embedded work Key Responsibilities Advance school-wide PreK readiness results through educator development, program consistency, and engaging, evidence-informed classrooms. Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master’s degree or advanced certification preferred At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a related area Demonstrated experience facilitating learning for groups of young children aged 3-5 Documented success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that support developmental milestone progression, such as Montessori approaches Minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising educators with accountability for outcomes Background in composing written family progress communications and facilitating team coordination meetings within an educational context Current legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship Availability to work on-site at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation assistance offered if necessary Nice-to-have Requirements Knowledge of educational technology systems, adaptive monitoring dashboards, or digital assessment tools in early childhood environments Background applying behavioral support methods and co-regulation practices for children aged 3-5 Compensation & Benefits Full-time position (40 hours per week).
