TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Shreveport, Louisiana, 71103!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Compact or relevant state license required Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: - General Operating Room and Trauma experience preferred - Ability to respond to emergency events as assigned Description: The role requires flexibility to be assigned to an "Emergency Team" during emergencies. Travelers must be comfortable reporting as assigned in case of such events. Shift is Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Weekends are required once every 6 weeks. Call may be required, including potential weekend shifts. Holiday coverage may be needed as requested. BLS certification is preferred, but training will be provided if not held. Experience with general OR and trauma procedures is strongly preferred. Candidates with charge experience are not eligible for this position. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in various surgical procedures. The unit serves patients across all age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, and radiology. All required certifications must be provided prior to the start of the contract. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the specialty. References will be required for clearance to start the contract. NURSYS reports must be current and submitted with the profile. Resources who have worked in permanent or in-house positions within the organization must have been separated for a full year before returning. Modules are completed during the contract orientation and are factored into hours.
