Lead Agentic AI/ML Engineer - Cybersecurity Controls

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Python in public or private cloud environments
• Experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-scale security solutions
• Hands-on AI/ML engineering skills, including PyTorch or TensorFlow, MLOps, CI/CD, and model deployment and monitoring
• Deep experience with generative AI, including large language models, token management, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, embeddings, and vector databases
• Expertise in agentic AI, including tool and function calling, orchestration frameworks, multi-agent workflows, MCP, agent security, evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI security
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in security engineering workflows, with careful validation and awareness of data sensitivity
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations, escalate uncertainty, and ensure outcomes meet security, resiliency, and auditability expectations
• Proficiency across the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, and implementation
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems
• Preferred: experience communicating effectively with senior business leaders
• Preferred: bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative security solutions, applying unconventional approaches to solve technical problems
• Build secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Reduce security vulnerabilities by applying industry insights and government regulations, evolving security protocols, and assessing the effectiveness of controls
• Use enterprise-authorized AI to support threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security documentation; validate outputs and handle sensitive data appropriately
• Work with stakeholders and business leaders to understand security needs and recommend business changes during periods of vulnerability
• Perform discovery, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat scenario analysis across organizational assets
• Conduct threat modeling for applications, including external applications that interact with the internal JPMorgan Chase network
• Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices in SDLC and toolchain routines to strengthen security testing and control validation, maintaining traceability and auditability
