Research Lab Technician - Per Diem (All Shifts)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a research lab technician for per diem work across all shifts in Las Vegas. The role involves specimen collection, urine monitoring, and laboratory documentation in early-phase clinical trials, requiring flexibility for rotating schedules and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Collect and harvest plasma, serum, and other laboratory specimens per protocol
• Monitor urine and fecal specimen collection from study subjects
• Complete required study documents and operate specialized equipment as needed
• Maintain procedures and processing areas in clean, organized condition
• Coordinate with study coordinators to ensure smooth clinic and lab operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal qualification
• 0–1 year comparable experience or equivalent combination of education and training
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for full shifts
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Capacity to work under pressure in collaborative team environment
