Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Med Surg RN)

Location Requirement: No local candidates within 50 miles.

Assignment Details

• Unit: 624F Acute Medical Unit
• Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Duration: 13 weeks

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification (Required)
• ACLS certification (Preferred)
• Experience with Cerner EMR (Preferred)

Unit Overview

The Fourth Floor Medical/Surgical Unit at Northside Hospital Forsyth is a 34-bed acute care unit that provides care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The unit features:

• Private patient rooms
• Telemetry capability for all beds
• 24/7 patient care services
• Acute Medical/Surgical patient population
