Responsibilities Complete the initial 5-week paid training program and earn a $.50 raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker upon completion of the program. Enhance your leadership skills through structured leadership training programs. Follow the Career Path and train for an Assistant Manager position, which includes a 6-month training program to build the foundation to run your own store. Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers, while promoting sales and making deals for a wide variety of pawn items. Lead and influence Team Members through coaching and hands‑on involvement, ensuring a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that sets EZPAWN apart from the competition. Processing loans and extensions. Coming to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned. Performing opening and closing store procedures. Supervising and coaching store Team Members. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess an engaging personality, solid leadership, strong negotiation talents, and the ability to read and manage customer needs. You should be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and possess excellent judgment, time‑management, and prioritization skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build solid ongoing customer relationships are essential. High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager experience. Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Adherence to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations. Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus. Sales background is a plus.
