As a Fund Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial activities of investment funds, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in fund accounting and real estate investments, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate should possess solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of financial integrity. This position pays 75K-80K plus a bonus opportunity. Job Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for the investment funds. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Monitor and review fund transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with fund documents. Perform fund-level expense allocations and revenue recognition. Prepare and distribute investor statements and reports. Calculate fund performance metrics and provide analysis to stakeholders. Monitor investment transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing activities. Assist in the coordination of fund audits and tax compliance. Prepare and review fund-level compliance reports, including regulatory filings and investor reporting requirements. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1-3 years of experience in tax or fund accounting Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles and practices. Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
