The Diesel Mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. This role focuses on repairing, diagnosing, and maintaining diesel engines and associated systems to maximize performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Repair diesel engines and related components
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify mechanical issues
- Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Maintain and repair hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot electrical systems related to diesel equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer 1-2 years of experience in diesel mechanics
- Proficient in diesel engine repair and diagnostic testing
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical system maintenance
- Experienced in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
We are a Truck Repair shop as well as a heavy and light duty towing company.
We do all types of repairs on trucks and trailers.
We are hiring for a full-time mechanic in our shop as well as a part-time and evening road service mechanic.
Must have prior experience and pay will be based on your experience.
