Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Location: Charleston, SC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holidays required and every other weekend.

Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide critical care services, primarily focusing on adult patient populations. The clinician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and advanced airway management.
• Monitor and assess patient condition to make appropriate treatment adjustments.
• Utilize and maintain various respiratory care equipment and technologies.
• Conduct patient education and training on respiratory health management.
• Participate in emergency response teams as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current NBRC RRT certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license must be active at the start of employment.
• First-time travelers will not be accepted.
