Maintenance Service Manager II HVAC

Client is looking for a Maintenance Service Manager with an HVAC focus . Multi-site environment, working across multiple teams, and needs to vendor-savvy. Compensation: $35-$40/hourly, salary conversion in line Location: EVERYDAY On-Site (Bradenton, FL) Duration: 6 month Contract TO HIRE Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in HVAC operations, maintenance, and repair required Experience managing Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Fire Extinguisher, and Electrical Inspections strongly preferred Vendor management experience including COI tracking, pricing negotiations, and vendor sourcing Ability to read and interpret commercial leases and vendor invoices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Multi-site or retail facilities background a plus Key Responsibilities: Manage store maintenance requests across HVAC, Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Fire Extinguisher, and Electrical Inspections Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules across all applicable trades Evaluate, distribute, and track work order requests to vendors and internal teams Request, review, and approve vendor quotes; issue orders for approved work Manage Fire Inspections and violations; coordinate with local jurisdictions to resolve compliance issues Maintain vendor COI files, conduct regular vendor reviews, negotiate pricing, and source new vendors as needed Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
