Pay Rate: $18.00/hour A busy food distribution company in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver Helper to support daily delivery operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, working as part of a team, and assisting with deliveries throughout the NJ/NY area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading food products at delivery locations
- Ride along on delivery routes and help ensure timely deliveries
- Lift, move, and organize products safely and efficiently
- Verify orders and assist with delivery paperwork when needed
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Previous warehouse, delivery, moving, or driver helper experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work early morning shifts and overtime when needed
- Full-time opportunity
