Temporary Accounting Clerk Opportunity
A well-established custom door manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to provide temporary coverage on their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid Accounts Payable experience who can jump in and hit the ground running!
Location: Denver, CO
Contract Timeframe: 1-2 months
Flexible Schedule: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
40 hours/week | 4 days in office + 1 day remote
Pay: 24.76/hour
Temp Accounting Clerk Job Duties:
- AP experience is required
- Strong understanding of the full Accounts Payable cycle
- Comfortable with data entry and invoice processing
- General Ledger experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organization
Responsibilities include:
- Processing AP payments through check, ACH, and wire
- Entering and processing invoices
- Three-way matching of invoices, POs, and receipts
- Resolving pricing/quantity discrepancies
- Setting up new vendors
- Processing employee expense reports
- Assisting with AP-related month-end accruals
- Reviewing shipping/freight details and warranty credits
