Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical unit in Panama City, FL. 12-hour day and night shifts are available, with rotating weekends. Earn $29.92–$44.88/hour based on experience, plus a $4/hour night-shift differential. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, with relocation assistance considered case by case.

LOCATION: Panama City, FL

JOB TYPE: Permanent

SCHEDULE: Days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, or Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; rotating weekends

PAY RANGE: $29.92–$44.88/hour, based on experience

SIGN-ON BONUS (SOB): $10,000 for Days / $15,000 for Nights

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Available on a case-by-case basis

SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $4/hour for Nights; no weekend differential

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess patients upon admission and throughout each shift.
• Identify changes in patient conditions and report them promptly.
• Perform prescribed procedures and monitor patients according to treatment plans.
• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Respond to patient needs and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, medications, treatment plans, side effects, and follow-up care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Recent acute-care RN experience required; it does not have to be in Med-Surg.
• Acute-care RN experience must generally be within the last 3 years, or within the last 5 years for candidates with several years of RN experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of starting.
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license.
• Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days after relocation.
