Shuttle Driver

Position Details Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, dispatching around 4:00 pm. Daily pay rate: $271.30. Quarterly safety bonus and benefits on Day1 of employment. CDLA with doubles endorsement required. Position Purpose Food and food service delivery drivers play a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. As a Shuttle Driver, you transport empty trailers to operating company warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations, ensuring timely delivery in compliance with DOT regulations. Position Responsibilities Perform all required safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations. Report safety issues and required repairs. Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines, promptly reporting hazards. Ensure proper loading and securing of freight. Maintain required route paperwork and deliver trailers per schedule. Execute hook/unhook procedures safely. Park and store tractor‑trailers in designated areas. Secure equipment and freight; lock all doors. Collect and return damaged goods and customer returns. Unload equipment, materials, and remove trash as needed. Record hours of service, entering logs per federal and company requirements. Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clean. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 12+ months commercial driving experience. Valid CDLA with doubles endorsement. At least 21 years of age. Meet all state licensing and certification requirements (where applicable). Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past3 years. 3rd shift schedule, Sunday–Thursday nights (schedule may vary). Pass pre‑employment drug test and road test. Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure new one. Ability to hand‑lift and use equipment to move/stack product cases weighing 60–90 lbs.
