Job Title

Travel RN – Critical Care Float Pool

Location

Albany, New York

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Float and provide direct patient care across multiple ICU environments including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Care for ICU and progressive care patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Adapt quickly to varying critical care patient populations and unit protocols within a Level I Trauma Center setting
• Maintain competency standards across all assigned float pool units
• Complete a required competency assessment within 24 hours of submission

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Ability to competently care for patients across multiple critical care environments
• Navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred
• Experience floating to a variety of ICU settings highly desired
