This role ensures accuracy of financial records, timely processing of invoices and payments, and compliance with company policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsEnter invoices, purchase orders, and payment data into accounting systemsReconcile bank statements and company accountsPrepare and post journal entriesAssist with payroll processing and timecard verificationGenerate and send customer invoicesMonitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accountsMaintain organized financial records and filing systemsAssist with month-end and year-end closing proceduresSupport audits by gathering and preparing documentationCommunicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiriesVerify expense reports and receipts for accuracy and approvalQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required (Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred)1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration experienceBasic knowledge of accounting principlesExperience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Paycom, or similar)Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential informationStrong communication and problem-solving skillsWork EnvironmentOffice/clerical settingMonday–Friday schedule (overtime may be required during month-end)Frequent computer and data entry work
