Overview Crestwyn Behavioral Health Hospital is a licensed 80-bed leading psychiatric inpatient treatment hospital in the Memphis, TN area. Crestwyn provides leading inpatient psychiatric programs for individuals experiencing crisis from substance use disorder (SUD), mental health issues, or both. Sign-On Bonus and Shift Details Sign-on bonuses and shift differentials are noted for full-time roles: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus FT Nights $5,000 Sign-On Bonus FT Days $4/hr – $6.50/hr Shift Differential for Nights Built-in overtime with 3/4 rotation Responsibilities Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs. Develop and implement nursing care plans. Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions. Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined by the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures. Ensure physicians’ orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately per policy and procedure. Assess patient status on an ongoing basis and document pertinent information. Notify physicians of significant changes in status (e.g., detox difficulties, medical emergencies, changes in response to medications). Complete initial nursing treatment plans upon admission and ensure plans are specific to assessed needs. Demonstrate knowledge and utilization of universal precautions in direct patient care. Administer medications accurately as ordered, and document controlled substance administration as required. Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently and accurately. Exhibit therapeutic rapport with patients while maintaining professional boundaries and rational detachment. Provide direction or coordinate unit activities as directed. Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, co-workers, and others involved in inpatient treatment. Education/Licensure/Experience/Skills Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment or be eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements. One year of nursing experience; previous psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance use nursing experience is a plus. CPR and de‑escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
