Registered Nurse (Days) Virtual Care

Job Summary Work Schedule: Full Time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Days. This is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote option. Additional differential pay may be available for candidates with 2+ years of OR RN experience at UCH Anschutz. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). 6 months of OR nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Direct care includes practice in Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) or Operating Room levels of care. Familiarity with AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in perioperative, PACU, and OR settings. Precept and mentor new healthcare staff and UCHealth employees. Apply the nursing process to deliver evidence‑based care models. Ensure safety and quality in patient care at the point of care.
