This role is integral to our financial operations and will ensure seamless processing of all accounts payable functions.
• *Job Summary:** The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable practices, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• *Key Responsibilities:** - Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying, coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system.

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure that all invoices are paid on time.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports related to accounts payable.
• Monitor the accounts payable inbox and respond to vendor inquiries as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to verify purchase orders and ensure proper documentation is in place.
• Support month-end closing processes by providing data and analysis related to accounts payable activities.
• Maintain and improve Accounts Payable processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

**Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required.

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar financial role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or others) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
