Production SupervisorWarby Parker is on the hunt for a data-driven, experienced production supervisor for our in-house optical manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, NV. This role will be responsible for running the production for night shift. Reporting into the Production Manager, you will be tasked with leading a world-class team of Production Associates in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. If you take your work seriously (but not yourself!), you may be just the person we're looking for—keep reading!What you'll do:Supervise 15+ hourly employees in a specific manufacturing departmentSupport your team by delivering regular feedback, mentoring through one-on-ones and quarterly check-ins, and identifying development opportunitiesCommunicate all daily production goals and metrics with the team, maintaining accountability for throughput and performance while identifying new ways to streamline processes in your departmentEnsure safety practices are being followed by team members (raising concerns to management when necessary) and conduct other job-specific trainingsPartner with the Production Manager to identify strengths and opportunities for each Associate's continued success and developmentLead by example, continuously coaching and promoting accountabilityConduct trainings, coaching, and monitoring using your functional knowledge of all lab positionsDirect Associates to lend support in other departments if neededDrive production to meet and/or exceed specified goalsMaintain safety standards, monitor breakage, and give timely feedbackWho you are:Equipped with 3+ years of work experience (and specifically at least 12 months of production experience in a leadership role)Experienced leading or managing a team or projectA team player who's willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done (and done right!)Armed with a super-strong work ethicAn effective communicator (in person, over email, via carrier pigeon—all of it)Obsessively attentive to detailComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentSomeone who can stand and/or walk for up to 8–10 hours and is able to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodationNot on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)In compliance with local and state requirements, Warby Parker is committed to pay transparency.
