Aftermarket Sales & Service Engineer

Search Solution Group is seeking an Aftermarket Sales & Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading full-line and full-service air‑cooled condensers manufacturer. The Aftermarket Sales & Service Engineer will play a critical role in developing, coordinating, and expanding the company’s aftermarket business throughout the Americas. This position will work closely with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to identify new business opportunities, deliver technical solutions, and grow service offerings related to Air‑Cooled Condensers (ACC) and Air‑Cooled Heat Exchanger systems. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise with commercial acumen and a customer‑focused approach to drive revenue growth and long‑term customer partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Develop and grow the aftermarket business across the Americas Collaborate with global teams to develop and enhance aftermarket products and services, including spare parts, inspections, performance audits, maintenance programs, revamps, upgrades, training, and Long‑Term Service Agreements (LTSAs). Utilize technology and tools to identify and generate new aftermarket opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with end‑users, owners, operators, and industry stakeholders. Identify customer challenges and develop technical and commercial solutions to improve plant performance and operational efficiency. Promote and expand existing product offerings Strengthen and support third‑party sales representative networks through training, coaching, and business development initiatives. Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and commercial offerings to support business growth objectives. Coordinate execution of aftermarket contracts and ensure customer satisfaction throughout project delivery. Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and strategic planning. Recommend and implement operational improvements that support business objectives and customer success. Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and commercial teams to ensure successful project execution. Identify and develop innovative aftermarket solutions and service offerings to meet evolving customer needs. Requirements Include: Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering required. Experience: Experience within the power generation industry preferred. Experience in technical sales, site operations, or aftermarket service environments. Proven experience supporting capital equipment, industrial systems, or project‑based industries. Experience managing aftermarket service portfolios and customer‑facing commercial activities. Skills: Strong technical and commercial aptitude. Ability to develop and execute sales growth strategies. Excellent proposal development and contract management capabilities. Strong project coordination and budgeting skills. Effective planning, organization, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Strong relationship‑building and customer engagement skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Certifications: Professional engineering certifications are a plus but not required. Knowledge: Knowledge of Air‑Cooled Condensers, Air‑Cooled Heat Exchangers, or related thermal systems preferred. Understanding of power generation operations and maintenance practices. Knowledge of aftermarket service models, plant optimization strategies, and long‑term service agreements. Familiarity with industrial equipment performance analysis and maintenance programs. Understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
