Job Description:


- Shift: 07:00-19:00 (Days + On Call)
- Location: Medical City Denton
- Unit Information:
- Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Number of Beds:
- 2 Cath Labs
- 1 EP Lab
- 1 IR Neuro Lab
- Staffing:
- 7 for Cath/EP Lab
- 6 for IR Neuro Lab
- Day Shift: 4 Techs and 3 RNs in Cath/EP; 3 Techs and 3 RNs in IR Neuro
- Patient Ratios: 1:1

- Equipment:
- Temporary Pacemaker
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump
- Impella
- Penumbra
- Shockwave
- IVUS
- IFR
- GE Mac Lab Monitoring/Innova Imaging

- EMR: Mac Lab/Meditech

- Typical Procedures:
- Diagnostic and Interventional Heart Caths
- Interventional Radiology

- Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Must Have Skills:
- Cath Lab Techs: Experienced in scrubbing and ability to pan
- Cath Lab RNs: Experienced in circulating
- Preferred Skills:
- Electrophysiology
- Interventional Radiology
- Interventional Neuro

- Best Personality Fit: Assertive and team-oriented

- Required Certifications:
- Techs: RCIS, ACLS, R.T., ARRT, R.T. (R)
- Nurses: RN, ACLS

- Floating Areas:
- Emergency Department
- Discharge Lounge
- Other areas as needed within skill set

- Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Seal Blue

- Weekend and On Call:
- Rotating call after hours and weekends (approx. 50% of the month)
