Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Weekdays and Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 70-bed rural Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Deliver acute care and telemetry monitoring, including occasional care for pediatric and adolescent patients
• Collaborate with LPNs on night shift to support patient care needs
• Float to other units as needed, including ER and ICU , to cover patient care demands
• Document and chart accurately using Cerner EMR
• Utilize House Supervisor support, available 24/7 as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License in West Virginia or a Compact State (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring
• Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates residing between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification (AHA preferred)
• Experience with pediatric patient populations
• Charge nurse experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
