In this role, you'll be hands-on with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and mechanical systems. You'll play a critical role in preventing downtime, executing preventative maintenance, and ensuring our operations start strong every morning.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Repair & Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues on high-speed processing and packaging lines.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled PMs on automated packaging machinery, conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, and pumps.
• Plant Utilities Support: Monitor and maintain plant utilities, including boilers, air compressors, HVAC, refrigeration units, and anhydrous ammonia systems.
• Line Setup & Changeovers: Execute mechanical setups, adjustments, and changeouts for different ice cream and frozen novelty product lines.
• Welding & Fabrication: Perform minor pipe fitting, MIG/TIG/Stick welding, and structural repairs as required.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends

Skills

• Pneumatic/Hydraulic (3 years of experience is required)
• 3 phase/480v (4 years of experience is required)
• Boiler maintenance (3 years of experience is required)
• Chiller Maintenance (4 years of experience is required)
